Perhaps one of the most foundational beliefs you must hold to see humanity, the world, and life through Jesus’ eyes, is that you were created by Him. A tremendous amount of time, money, and effort has gone into finding an alternative explanation for the beginning of life as we know it.
Imagine this…
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. – Psalm 139:14–16 (ESV)
One of the most damaging assertions by our culture is that you were not created but just happened into being. That you have no purpose and that life is a fleeting moment.
Instead, you are created for a purpose. You are loved and cherished by your creator. You are also being pursued by Him to have a life altering relationship that goes far beyond the day your body stops function.
You are created, you are loved, and you are invited to walk with Jesus.
