Perception #2

Seeing clearly means seeing as Jesus sees. Period.

We live in a world full of influencers. Authors, actors, ministers, close friends, counselors…all are influencers in our world. However, no one can help you see as you should be seeing like Jesus can.

As a kid, I remember being taught that we should value others and respect their opinions. I believe that is true today, but we must critically assess who we will allow to influence us.

Here is what I want you to consider…Who has more perfect clarity than Jesus about your life? If you were to honestly assess your own life, who have you given the most influence in how you see your life, the world, God, and reality? Remember our key verse today.

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. 1 Corinthians 13:12 (NLT)
