As you start your day, ask yourself…”What convicts me?” What are the things that consistently cause you to act? We each have certain beliefs that trump other lesser held convictions. To start the day with a cup of coffee…Giving to those that are hungry on the side of the road…Spay and neuter your pets… What are yours? One of the greatest promises we have as followers of Jesus is that we are new creations because of His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 (ESV)

Not only are we new creations, but we have been given a mission to share the good news that we have heard and experienced. While God could have chosen to do it all Himself, He chose you and I to do it WITH Him. Again, what are your convictions? They will guide you in the choices you will make today and how you can partner with God.
