We live in a world that is growing more complicated.
Busier.
More secretive.
More exclusionary.
More exhausted.
More depressed.
Jesus proclaimed a simple message of hope, salvation, and a simple way of living life.
His message was not simplistic and it was not easy, but it was simple.
What would it look like to embrace a life built on these simple principles…
In faith?
In love?
In worship?
In our schedules?
In our finances?
In our churches?
In our mission?
What would it look like to embrace the simple and move away from the complicated?
Why? Because…
People are struggling.
War is raging.
Depression is growing.
Suicide is more frequent.
Giving up is a national epidemic.
We are tired, frustrated, and less effective at living a full life.
Jesus said:
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28–30
Are you still weary and heavy laden?
Does your soul feel at rest?
Does your burden seem light?
More complex does not mean better, fuller, or happier.
Simple does not mean simplistic or easy.
Join us as we discover what it looks like to live simple and full.
Because God is inviting you to something…
Simple.
