Hope.
It’s such a simple word…
…but it conveys more than it’s 4 letters may imply.
It’s a belief that something better exists.
That it’s attainable.
That you will experience it.
It’s based on a foundation that will either stand the test of time…
…or it won’t.
Hope is tangible, relevant, and experiential…
…but it can be elusive.
Hope is the beginning of something, never the end. If it can’t be fulfilled, it isn’t hope.
Hope is a promise that something greater than you now know will come to pass…
…EVEN IF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES REMAIN THE SAME.
Hope isn’t passive. It’s active. And it may be waiting for you to take a step.
Hope is grounded and eternal.
You can easily take hope for granted, until it’s gone.
Hope can be yours! It is promise made to you and if you are a follower of Jesus, you are required to be able to explain it and share it.
Do you have hope? Do you want to? Join us for a new series starting this Sunday simply entitled…
HOPE.
13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect… 1 Peter 3:13–15 (ESV)
