There is a lot that has been said about the value getting ourselves into the deep end of faith, and while it’s not easy, it’s all so true. With all of the things that we have been talking about over the past several weeks, there is one more thing that I feel is true, and it may be the most difficult or scariest concept of all. When it comes to getting ourselves into the deep end of faith, sometimes we’ve just gotta go for it and dive in head first.
We have had over the past several months many examples of this with our loving church family giving so sacrificially and without hesitation to help this group of 22 awesome individuals (23 including me, but I won’t toot my own horn like that) come to Centrifuge. What an amazing picture of diving into the deep man!
A short piece from me this week, but I wanted to get to this part for you quickly. I had the immense joy to witness and be a part of one of our students diving in head first at about 12:40 or so this morning. With the full week of camp still ahead of him and the probable invitation to come his way, one of our students (in talking with one of our OTHER students, and then with me) accepted Christ and decided to begin his walk to follow Him! I cannot WAIT to get back and share more with you about it, after he has the chance to do so himself of course. 🙂
See you Sunday!
