We will begin taking nominations on Sunday, March 1st for 2 weeks.\nPaper nomination forms will be available at the coffee bar and may be placed in one of our offering baskets or you are welcome to use the online form below.\nCandidates will be presented to the church to share their testimony and their willingness to serve which will be followed by a vote of the congregation to affirm these individuals. We are currently taking nominations for 2 vacant elder slots. If you would like to read more about Journey’s polity and governance, you will find it below as it pertains to this role. Please be in prayer about those you believe demonstrate the heart of the Gospel and our church, represent the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9, and are actively serving our church family in some capacity.[/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20px”][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” text_align=”center” row_position=”default” row_position_tablet=”inherit” row_position_phone=”inherit” overflow=”visible” pointer_events=”all”][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” column_element_direction_desktop=”default” column_element_spacing=”default” desktop_text_alignment=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_backdrop_filter=”none” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” overflow=”visible” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” animation_type=”default” bg_image_animation=”none” border_type=”simple” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][nectar_btn size=”large” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” icon_family=”none” text=”Nomination Form” url=”https://journeychattanooga.com/upcoming-events/elder-nominations/#form”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20px”][nectar_btn size=”large” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” icon_family=”none” text=”Full Constitution & Bylaws” url=”https://journeychattanooga.com/wp-content/uploads/JCConstBylawsFinal.pdf”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]\nJourney Church Governance\n1.
