Experiencing God

I’ve never been one to do something half way.
Whether it’s reaching for the stars or sticking my foot in my mouth, I tend to be all in.

There is no more important area in your (or my) life to be all in than in our faith and walk with God. We see all through the scriptures that when you truly experience God, you will be forever changed and He will use you in an incredible way. That has always been my hope for my family, our church, and my own life.

Starting tonight, Wednesday, September 13th, we are beginning a new small group study at Journey called “Experiencing God”. It is a 13 week study in how to experience God more fully and join Him in the supernatural work that He is doing in the world around us.

If you have been around the block a few times, you know that this isn’t the newest study off the presses, but it has recently been rewritten and is one of the most applicable and moving Bible studies that I have ever been a part of.

Why am I telling you this?
Because I want you to be involved if you are not already part of a Journey Small Group.
Every one of you.

As we have been exploring the ministry of the Holy Spirit on Sunday mornings, I hope you have been seeing that God is doing an amazing work in your life and His plans far surpass your own. Many times, we miss what God is doing because we simply have forgotten (or never learned) how to fully experience Him!

If you would like to take part, tonight is the introductory session where we will lay out the entire study, provide you a member book, and help you get started on your first week.

If you can’t make it, tonight, you can still join us next Wednesday night, but after that, the study will be closed.

2 groups are meeting together for a portion of each Wednesday night and then separating for small group discussion and further learning.

If you have ever wanted to go deeper in your walk with Christ, or truly see God at work in your life, I hope you will join us!
